THE WREKIN | Chardonnay | 2023
"Stylish and gorgeously complex with ripe apricot, rockmelon, subtle vanilla, lemon peel, and almond meal nuances on the nose. The palate displays excellent depth and persistence, wonderfully framed by plush texture and beautifully pitched acidity, making it wonderfully flavoursome with a lingering, satisfying finish. At its best: now to 2033."

95/100 Points - Candice Wine Chat
"An excellent bouquet, almost perfumed with wild white flowers and fragrant fruit spices then familiar aromas of white fleshed orchard fruits then lees and barrel additions. A dry nicely weighted wine with a mix of nut and spice, fruit and mineral qualities. There’s a note of melon and tropical vanilla, the seam of lees and wood remain adding phenolic complexity and depth throughout the palate. Well made, fine tannins, fresh still and delicious. Best drinking from day of purchase through 2030."

THE WREKIN | Chardonnay | 2022
“A bouquet of complexity and freshness, variety and power, finesse and charm. A silky texture touches the palate first then flavours of fresh citrus and white fleshed fruits, there’s a fine lees quality adding to the mouthfeel and energy. Flavours mirror the bouquet driven by white fleshed stone fruit then citrus. Well made, lengthy, new and delicious.
94/100 Points Excellent- Cameron Douglas MS
“Bright, even, pale straw yellow with some depth. The nose is elegantly lifted with aromas of roasted almond shavings, delicate spice, grapefruit pith, underlying stonefruit and citrus. Medium-bodied, aromas of peach and nectarine entwined with lemon, pink grapefruit pith and subtle spices. The fruit has concentration and flows harmoniously along an effortlessly creamy line; enlivening acidity carries good energy and length, closing on enticing, delicate layers. The Chardonnay is elegantly expressed with delicate layers and good energy.”
